HEAL Medical provides professional vaccination services that protect you and your family from infectious diseases. Whether it’s seasonal flu vaccines, pneumococcal vaccines, HPV vaccines, shingles vaccines, or other everyday vaccination needs, our comprehensive services are managed by an experienced healthcare team to ensure a safe and comfortable vaccination process.

Adult Vaccines

  • Human Papillomavirus Vaccine (HPV)
This vaccine is used to prevent infections caused by the Human Papillomavirus (HPV), which is a leading cause of cervical cancer. HPV is also associated with several other cancers, such as head and neck cancer, anal cancer, vaginal cancer, and penile cancer. Vaccination before HPV exposure provides the most effective protection and is suitable for both adolescent boys and girls, as well as adults, especially those who have not been previously infected with HPV. GARDASIL 9 is commonly used for vaccination.

  • Pneumococcal Vaccine (Pneumococcal)
The pneumococcal vaccine is primarily used to prevent severe infections caused by pneumococcal bacteria, such as pneumonia, meningitis, and sepsis. These infections are hazardous for infants, the elderly, and individuals with weakened immune systems. Vaccination significantly reduces the risk of pneumococcal infections, especially for adults over 65 or those with chronic health conditions.

  • Adult Hepatitis A Vaccine (HepA)
Hepatitis A is a viral infection that spreads through contaminated food and water. This vaccine boosts the immune system to protect against Hepatitis A virus (HAV) infection, safeguarding the liver from damage. It is essential for people who frequently travel to regions where Hepatitis A is prevalent or at high risk of infection.

  • Adult Hepatitis B Vaccine (HepB)
Hepatitis B is a severe liver disease caused by the Hepatitis B virus (HBV), which can lead to hepatitis, liver cirrhosis, and liver cancer. The Hepatitis B vaccine effectively prevents these complications. It is essential for people with frequent blood transfusions, a family history of liver disease, or those at high risk of blood exposure. The vaccine is administered in three doses.

  • Adult Hepatitis A and B Combination Vaccine (HepA+B)
This vaccine provides dual protection against Hepatitis A (HAV) and Hepatitis B (HBV). It is suitable for adults at risk of both types of hepatitis, such as frequent travellers, those in close contact with hepatitis patients, and individuals with chronic liver conditions.

  • Shingles Vaccine (Zoster)
Shingles are caused by the Varicella-Zoster virus (VZV), which also causes chickenpox. The vaccine effectively prevents shingles outbreaks, particularly for individuals aged 50 and above or those with weakened immune systems, as these groups are more susceptible and tend to experience more severe cases. Common vaccines include Shingrix and Zostavax.

  • Tetanus Vaccine (ATT)
Tetanus is a severe disease caused by a toxin produced by the tetanus bacterium, leading to muscle spasms and potentially death. The tetanus vaccine is often administered with diphtheria and pertussis vaccines, providing long-term protection. It is recommended that a booster dose be received every 10 years to maintain security.

Children Vaccines

  • MMRV Vaccine
This vaccine provides combined protection against measles, mumps, rubella, and varicella (chickenpox), offering comprehensive protection for children against these viruses. It helps prevent complications such as deafness, brain damage, and congenital disabilities caused by these diseases.

  • MMR Vaccine
A vaccine targeting measles, mumps, and rubella. These diseases cause rashes, fever, swollen lymph nodes, and flu-like symptoms and may lead to serious long-term health issues. Rubella poses an exceptionally high risk to pregnant women.

  • Pneumococcal Vaccine
This vaccine prevents infections caused by pneumococcal bacteria, which are significant causes of pneumonia, meningitis, and sepsis in children and adults. It is hazardous for children under 5 years old and adults over 65 years old.

  • Hepatitis A Vaccine (Junior)
This vaccine protects children from Hepatitis A virus infection, which is spread through contaminated food and water and can damage the liver.

  • Hepatitis B Vaccine (Junior)
This vaccine prevents Hepatitis B virus infection, which is spread through blood and bodily fluids and can lead to chronic liver disease, cirrhosis, and even liver cancer.

  • Meningococcal Vaccine (MenACWY)
This vaccine protects against meningococcal bacteria types A, C, W, and Y, which can cause severe bacterial meningitis, leading to brain and spinal cord inflammation. It is hazardous for teenagers and young adults.

  • Meningococcal B Vaccine (MenB)
This vaccine prevents explicit infections caused by meningococcal B bacteria, commonly found in infants and teenagers, which can lead to meningitis or sepsis.

  • Japanese Encephalitis Vaccine (JapENnc)
This vaccine prevents Japanese encephalitis, a viral brain infection transmitted by mosquitoes, which is particularly important for people living in or travelling to high-risk areas in East and Southeast Asia.
